Mary Jo is a Director at Graham Allen Partners and is responsible for human resources, recruiting, and training for the firm and its portfolio companies. Chief among her strategic priorities is to ensure that the Graham Allen Partners family of companies is able to attract and retain top technical talent. She also manages the firm’s corporate training division and works closely with community partners as they strive to meet the training needs of their increasingly diverse workforce.
While no longer in the classroom, Mary Jo remains committed to serving students and actively supports local educational initiatives such as the St. Joe CEO Program and Project Search. Mary Jo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, a Master’s of Science degree in Education from Indiana University, and completed the School Administration Licensure Program at Bethel College. She serves on the boards of the Family & Children’s Center and the Michiana Society of Human Resource Management.
Training specialties include basic computer skills for new users and literacy classes for new English language learners. Prior to joining Graham Allen Partners in 2009, Mary Jo spent 13 years as a classroom teacher and is a licensed School Administrator. Her dedication to urban students and students with special needs was recognized in 2007 when she was named Teacher of the Year.
